Landscape Tuesday // Horseshoe Bend, Arizona

Today I wanted to share a photo of Horseshoe Bend in Arizona – from my trip to there about 7 years ago. It’s located near town of Page and it’s probably one of the most beautiful Colorado River overlooks. The view of Horseshoe Bend from the rim of the canyon is simply extraordinary and the drop from the overlook to Colorado River is exactly 1,000 feet (300 m).

It can be reached via short hike from U.S. Route 89, just about 4 miles southwest of Page.
