Car fire on Interstate 5 in Lake Forest

Last Saturday I was driving to a photoshoot when a stalled car on the freeway caught on fire. I was right there when first responders got on scene, so I pulled over, grabbed my camera and shot few pictures. Luckily I had my telephoto lens with me so I could stay far enough from the scene to be safe, and bring action closer by zooming in as much as I could. After the fire was put out, one of the Firefighters told me that no one was inside the car. Thankfully! It was mere seconds from just smoke to full ablaze! He asked me if he can get few photos for his men. I’ve obviously sent them some, and they’ve like it enough to invite me to the station! I’m visiting Fire Station 22 later this week!
